Brian J. Considine is a Senior Attorney with Dawda, Mann, Mulcahy & Sadler, PLC. He concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate environmental counseling, commercial real estate due diligence and environmental/toxics litigation.  His practice also includes counseling clients on Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards.

Mr. Considine's environmental practice includes assisting a variety of corporate clients with transactional matters involving the acquisition, sale and/or cleanup and closure of environmentally impaired properties. In that capacity, he has negotiated with a number of state environmental protection agencies in the midwest, as well as with landowners, developers, and tenants to reach creative resolutions on a wide variety of environmental issues. He also has assisted clients with environmental due diligence and brownfield funding pertaining to property acquisition, including coordinating activities and strategies with environmental consultants. A large part of Mr. Considine's practice is his pro-active counseling to clients on ways to avoid or minimize environmental liability.

Mr. Considine's litigation experience includes the representation of corporate clients in toxic tort litigation and in industrial contamination claims. He has appeared before federal and state judicial and administrative forums.

He is also one of the few attorneys in Michigan to earn the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional designation and was the first attorney in Michigan to become a LEED AP BD+C specialist in building design and construction.

Mr. Considine earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 1995.
