Patrick J. Ennis is a Member of Dawda, Mann, Mulcahy & Sadler, PLC. He concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate development and transactions, corporate transactions, and business law.
As a transactional attorney, Mr. Ennis has experience in real estate matters representing clients with property acquisition, disposition, lease agreements and real estate related litigation. In particular, Mr. Ennis specializes in all aspects of retail and commercial development of real estate, including the development of shopping centers. Further, he assists clients with the environmental aspects of their transactions and has represented clients before state environmental administrative agencies. Mr. Ennis recently prepared the Annual Survey of Michigan Real Property Law for the Wayne Law Review, Annual Survey of Michigan Law, June 1, 2001 - May 31, 2002, Vol. 49, No. 2, Summary 2003.
Mr. Ennis' business law experience extends to counseling clients on asset and stock purchase transactions, preparing employment agreements, confidentiality and non-compete agreements, and shareholder agreements. He is also involved in the creation and structuring of corporations and limited liability companies.
Further, Mr. Ennis has significant experience in commercial litigation, appeals, franchise law and labor and employment matters. He is able to draw upon this broad legal background and experience to effectively advise and counsel his corporate clients.
Mr. Ennis earned his J.D. in 1992 from the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, where he was an Associate Editor of the Journal of Urban and Contemporary Law.
Mr. Ennis received his A.B. from Duke University in 1987. |
