Tyler D. Tennent is a Member of Dawda, Mann, Mulcahy & Sadler, PLC. He concentrates his practice in the areas of environmental, land use, real estate law and related litigation.

Since the early 1980's, Mr. Tennent has provided legal counsel to a broad range of businesses on numerous environmental, real estate and land use matters. He is regional environmental counsel to several national real estate development companies. He frequently assists client with the development of contaminated and brownfield properties, the attainment of permits and approvals, the minimization of environmental risks associated with managing hazardous wastes and the drafting of contracts and corporate policies to avoid exposure to environmental liability. He is a recognized legal expert in soil, air, groundwater and surface water issues. Additionally, he handles complex cases that analyze the transactional effects of environmental liability and advises corporations on the implementation of environmental audit and compliance programs.

Mr. Tennent has significant expertise representing parties in commercial, land use, and environmental litigation, including local, state and federal administrative appellate actions and regulatory proceedings.

Mr. Tennent also writes and publishes articles in state and national legal publications. As a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Mr. Tennent participates in its Environmental Law Section and is a member of the Air, Real Estate, Wetlands and Surface Groundwater Committees. He is also a member of the American Bar Association's Natural Resources Section and the Oakland County Bar Association. Mr. Tennent earned his J.D. in 1984 from Michigan State University College of Law and his B.A. from Michigan State University in 1981.
